CTH J Reconstruction Project (Highland Road to STH 32), Sheboygan County, WI:
Himalayan led this local force account project during the 2012 construction season. Himalayan staff performed various administration duties such as project management, contractor work hour tracking, project estimates, change orders, construction material compliance and project closeout. Himalayan performed construction oversight on grading operations, storm sewer, and incidentals. Jill Treadway, WisDOT NE Region Local Program project manager, said the following about the Himalayans project lead Charles Krummel: Charles has done a great job performing as project manager on CTH J. He is very detailed, great with communication skills and follows through on issues. He is more than ready to lead a larger project. He does a good job of looking ahead for issues, reviewing the specifications and bringing forth recommendations, and not just always seeking the quick answer from the MC.
CTH VV (Silver Spring Drive) Reconstruction Project (Jackson Drive-Bette Drive), Waukesha County, WI:
Himalayan provided construction oversight of this reconstruction project. Responsibilities include construction management, inspection, quantity measurement, and traffic control oversight and coordination, and record keeping using Field Manager.
STH 26 Reconstruction Project (Jefferson Road-CTH Y), Jefferson County, WI:
Himalayan provided construction oversight of this project. Responsibilities include construction management, inspection, quantity measurement, and traffic control oversight and coordination, and record keeping using Field Manager.
STH 167 (Mequon Road) Resurfacing and CN Railroad Crossing Replacement Project, Ozaukee County, WI:
Himalayan provided overall administration of the contract along with construction management, project estimates, change orders, construction inspection, erosion control compliance, quantity measurement, surveying, field design, traffic control oversight, WisDOT coordination with other contracts, railroad coordination, and record keeping including project finalization using Field Manager, for this small but a complex construction project involving a railroad crossing replacement in the City of Mequon, Ozaukee County.
South 6th Street Bridge Project, Milwaukee County, WI:
Provided construction oversight of this bridge project. Responsibilities included construction management, inspection, quantity measurement, and traffic control oversight and coordination, and record keeping using Field Manager.
STH 32 (Sheridan Road) Reconstruction Project, Racine County, WI:
Performed construction oversight of Sheridan Road (STH 32). Responsibilities included providing on site information to designers for design revisions of project, construction inspection, traffic control oversight, and Field Manager record keeping.
S. Kinnickinnic Avenue Intersection with E. Plankinton Avenue, Milwaukee County, WI:
Supervised construction of a 0.07-mile section of S. Kinnickinnic Avenue and E. Plankinton Avenue intersection. The major work items include removals, excavation common, base aggregate, concrete pavement and sidewalk, lighting, pavement marking, and storm sewer. Responsibilities include construction management, inspection, quantity measurement, traffic control oversight and coordination, and record keeping using Field Manager.
STH 100 (Brown Deer Road), Milwaukee County, WI:
Performed construction oversight of 2.05-mile section of STH 100 from STH 57 to IH 43. The major work items include grading, storm sewer, fly ash stabilization, concrete pavement, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, decorative concrete sidewalk, traffic signals, pavement marking, permanent signing, erosion control, and restoration. Responsibilities include construction management, inspection, quantity measurement, and traffic control oversight and coordination, and record keeping using Field Manager.
STH 120, Walworth County, WI:
